Art

Art for me is a fascinating subject.

From an early age, I started experimenting with different colours and different types of paints and pens. I was inspired by my art teacher Mrs nunn and I entered a competition for the best drawing of Jack and the Beanstalk For a pantomime at Southwold. My artwork was chosen and became the poster of the pantomime. during lockdown, I spent my time focusing on art and my school Orwell Park set a subject of an animal to be entered into the Royal Academy of arts. I so enjoyed working with the three basic acrylics and fine pens creating an array of colours.

My art  was selected for entry to the RA and at the age of nine years old and for the first time in the schools history I was selected to be part of a young artist summer exhibition.

This has inspired me to keep going with art. The following year I individually entered the young artists exhibition at the Royal Academy of arts. With again, a fantasy reflection of a peacock but my work was not accepted.

After that, I became an art scholar at Orwell Park School.

This summer I started private art lessons with James Maberly who is an award-winning and prolific artist who is a master of capturing movement in animals.
